Deris held the fourth Unreal Campaign Training at Uskudar American Academy


Deris is delighted to announce the fourth unreal campaign training in March 2019 on behalf of International Trademark Association (INTA) at Uskudar American Academy which is one of the top ranked foreign co-educational high schools in Turkey. The event was organized with the contribution of the Economy Club. The training started by the INTA Anti-Counterfeiting Committee member Okan Can with an introductory information concerning the INTA, the Unreal Campaign, the economic value of trademarks in business life and the consequences of buying counterfeiting products and continued with the explanations of two Deris volunteers; Burcum Evgin and Soley Oygucu on the traditional and non-traditional trademarks, how they are protected and how to identify the real and unreal via interactive discussion. Deris will continue to support INTA's Unreal Campaign and hold events in following months to build consumer awareness between high school students. The Unreal Campaign aims to educate high school students (14- to 18-years-old) about the dangers of counterfeiting and the importance of trademarks. Unreal is a multiyear initiative that will outreach to teens through online activities and direct school engagement.
